Keep it short on purpose
Long money talks often become emotional and unfocused. A 25-minute meeting is easier to repeat and less likely to turn into a trial.
Agenda item one: what changed?
Start with new bills, income changes, upcoming expenses or decisions that need attention.
Agenda item two: what is due soon?
Look at the next 30 days. This keeps the meeting practical and prevents surprise expenses.
Agenda item three: what are we building?
Review one goal: emergency fund, debt payoff, travel, home repair or education.
End with one action
Do not end with ten tasks. Choose one transfer, one call, one cancellation or one decision to complete before the next meeting.
